Endoscopy RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for our Endoscopy department in Rochester, NY. This is a 117-week travel assignment starting September 14, 2026, offering $1,732 weekly pay.

Schedule and Shift Options:

• Monday through Friday primary schedule, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• On-call required for overnight and weekend coverage
• Choose between 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week

Your Responsibilities:

• Answer patient questions and address concerns throughout the procedure
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry throughout procedures
• Administer conscious sedation and recover patients safely
• Administer medications and IV drips as ordered
• Perform expert IV insertion for all patients
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize all instruments and equipment
• Assist physicians throughout GI endoscopy procedures
• Perform patient intake and discharge documentation
• Recover patients from general anesthesia post-procedure

Required Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience
• Proficiency in conscious sedation administration
• Expert-level IV insertion skills
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification competency
• BLS Certification (AHA only)
• ACLS Certification (AHA only)
