Endoscopy RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department at Rochester – Unity Hospital in Rochester, New York. This is a 56-week travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM–6:30 PM)
• Weekly pay: $2,539
• On-call requirements: approximately 4–6 shifts per month, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Day off varies based on department needs; same day off each week or Monday/Friday consistency cannot be guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during endoscopic procedures with a 1:3 patient ratio
• Manage procedural-based cases including Pancreatic, Lung, Colon, and Gastric CA; Polyps; Barrett's esophagus; and CBD stones, strictures, and CA
• Float to Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed
• Perform phlebotomy and IV placement
• Operate specialized equipment: ERBE, Olympus scopes and processors, Super-D, Bravo, VCE, and Manometry
• Chart in EPIC

Procedures

You will encounter EUS, ERCP, Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Manometry, and Fibroscan.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York state RN license
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience (new travel nurses accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, and CGRN certification
• EPIC experience
• Competency with phlebotomy and IV placement
