Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CA RN License
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Certifications must be AHA or ARC
• CA RN License required with valid Nursys verification
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including falls, sepsis, UTI, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, and CHF exacerbation
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Additional skills include high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), PCA management, peripheral line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
