ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Emergency Room unit with 18 beds
• Patient ratios vary depending on acuity, typically 4:1
• Night shift staffed with 2 RNs
• Perform procedures including IV placement, EKG, foleys, splints, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments
• Utilize equipment including LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE
• Work within EMR system Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of current ED RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC); CPI Blue card required
• Experience working in a large hospital setting preferred
• Teamwork-oriented attitude required to fit within a seasoned, positive unit culture
