Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 48 hours guaranteed is an option
• Work on 7N Cardiac Telemetry unit in the Main Hospital
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 36-bed unit with a full staffing complement of charge nurses, RN/LPNs, and PCTs
• Day shift: 1 charge, 9 RN/LPN, 3 PCT; Night shift: 1 charge, 8 RN/LPN, 3 PCT
• 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule; Friday and Saturday for nights, Saturday and Sunday for days
• Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal) and pacemaker placements required
• Experience with stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips required
• NIH certification preferred
• Required certification: ACLS
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allen Vitals machines
• EMR system: Meditech
• May float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
• Scrub color: Grey for RNs
• Fast-paced, high energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork preferred
