Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital St Louis is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position on the Med Surg unit. This is a night shift role working 3x12 hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with a 91-week assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,106
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week based on your preference
• Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• Expect to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13-week period can be automatically approved
• No on-call requirements

Role Details

• Patient population: 50% Medical and 50% Telemetry adults only
• Patient ratio: 4 to 6 patients per nurse (estimates, not guarantees)
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• EMR system: EPIC
• Standard nursing equipment used on Telemetry unit
• Black scrubs required

Requirements

• 2+ years of Telemetry experience
• Current RN License eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only
• NIHSS certification
• Night shift orientation takes place on day shift; you must be available for the entire orientation week
