Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week based on candidate preference
• 13 to 26 week assignment length
• Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13-week period can be automatically approved
• No on-call requirements
• Float to similar or lower acuity unit as needed
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6 patients per nurse (estimates, not guarantees)
• Patient population is 50% Medical and 50% Tele adults only
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system
• Uses standard nursing equipment on a Tele unit
• Night shift orientation takes place on day shift and candidate must be available the entire week for orientation
• 2+ years of Telemetry experience required
• Current RN License eligible for or currently licensed in the state of Missouri required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Black scrubs required
