ED RN Job in Salem, VA

Lewisgale Medical Center VA is seeking an experienced RN for their 8-bed freestanding Emergency Department. This is a travel position offering the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute setting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Care for both high and low acuity emergency department patients
• Manage a 4:1 patient ratio
• Perform medication administration and lab work
• Provide care for critically ill patients
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of the care team

Shift and Staffing

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 days per week
• Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs
• Four weekend shifts per schedule are required
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• ED nursing experience required
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
• ENPC certification preferred
