Job Details:

• 5x8 shifts Monday through Friday with call required, or 3x12 shifts with rotating days off and call required
• Call required, averaging 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle
• Weekend coverage averages every 4th or 5th weekend
• Expect to work some holidays
• 36 orientation hours
• General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• OR consists of 13 rooms and 13 beds with a daily census of 35-40
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Proficiency with a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to orthopedic, spine, general, gynecologic, neurological, urologic, and bariatric surgeries
• Experience with robotic surgical systems such as Da Vinci Xi, Mako, and Mazor preferred
• Must be comfortable with trauma cases including gunshot and stab wounds
• Experience with minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures required
