Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours must be indicated at time of submission
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 30-bed unit
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Orthopedic inpatient experience required
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Care for post-trauma, surgical, and medically complex patients
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred certification: ACLS from AHA only
• Current RN license required - must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
• Scrub color: Black only
• Night shift orientation is conducted on day shift - must be available the entire week for orientation
