Med Surg RN Job in West Branch, MI

MyMichigan Health – West Branch is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg on a temporary assignment. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, for a 91-day contract beginning August 24, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform integrated nursing functions using the nursing process and broad nursing knowledge
• Assess patient needs regularly and provide skilled nursing services according to the physician-authorized plan of care
• Administer medications, perform treatments, respond to call lights and alarms, and assist with patient transfers
• Evaluate treatment plan effectiveness and collaborate with the care team on plan updates and revisions
• Process physician and provider orders accurately, completely, and promptly
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications
• Work holidays and weekends as required, with a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Active Michigan nursing license with LARA and/or Nursys verification showing active status
• Skills checklist current within the last 12 months pertinent to Med Surg
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification

You will earn $2,259 per week. This is a temporary position; your assignment is expected to last 91 days.
