Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 8-hour day shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM with occasional flexibility
• Variable days schedule
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation week)
• No weekend or holiday call rotation requirements
• May be placed on call during low census periods with a 2-hour minimum call back
• Up to 36 hours of low census hours included in contract
• May be required to float to additional facility locations as needed
• Perform general nuclear medicine studies including bone scans, renal studies, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, cardiac, and parathyroid exams
• Operate Symbia Evo SPECT, Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT, Capintec Thyroid probe, and Siemens Biograph Vision X PET/CT Scanner
• Knowledge of SPECT/CT and/or PET/CT required; training provided
• Siemens equipment experience is a plus
• Charting experience with Epic and Merge PACS required; facility will provide training
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
• Associate's degree or certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT(N) or CNMT (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Scrubs must be any clean, work-appropriate color or print
• Traveler must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
