Operating Room RN Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts and earn $2,482 weekly, starting November 16, 2026.

Core Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in a general OR setting across 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 50–60 patients
• Function independently in the following specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
• Operate proficiently with the Da Vinci Xi robot and demonstrate familiarity with the DV5 Da Vinci robot
• Manage a 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• Float as needed to support operational demands
• Respond to 2–3 on-call shifts within a 6-week matrix with a 30-minute response time
• Work 3–4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (days, evenings, or nights as assigned)
• Work holiday shifts as needed; you will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays, with Black Friday and the week of Christmas unavailable for time off

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Level II Trauma experience required (greater than 1 year); Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficiency in robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Ability to function independently across all listed specialties
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
