NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 42-bed Neonatal ICU unit
• Day and night shifts available with staffing of 1 charge nurse, 10-15 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift
• Patient ratios: Level 3 acuity - 1 to 3 patients per nurse; Level 2 acuity - 3 to 4 patients per nurse
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• Occasional on-call responsibilities
• Float to newborn nursery as needed
• Work with equipment including isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy units, and computers
• EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
• Perform IV starts and assist with PICC insertions (trained clinicians only)
• Experience with central lines including UAC, UVC, broviacs, and PICCs preferred
• Resource staff will be available on unit
• Required certifications: RN licensure and NRP
• STABLE certification preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
