Opportunity:

RN - Rehab

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week schedule with weekdays and every other weekend required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs when required, including to Med Surg
• Guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours per week - discuss with manager
• No on-call requirement
• Patient ratios: Days 1:4/5, Nights 1:5/6
• 24-bed unit specializing in cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, and neurological diseases
• Each patient has a dedicated care team including a physiatrist, NP, nurse, therapists, and social worker who collaborate to create individualized care plans
• Therapy works with patients 3 hours per day Monday through Friday with an average length of stay of approximately 2 weeks
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White or combination
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of in-specialty experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Block schedule requests can be accommodated - discuss during interview
• Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA); acute care rehab certification preferred
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
