Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work straight night shifts with 36 or 48 hours per week schedule
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call availability required per unit need
• Care for patients aged 18 and up with intensive symptom management needs at end of life
• Provide general medicine overflow care as needed
• Strong IV skills and wound care skills required
• Astute assessment skills mandatory to advocate for patients who can no longer speak for themselves
• Ability to manage patients with complex needs and families in crisis required
• 2 years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience required
• NYS RN License required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired
• Telemetry experience is not required
