Med Surg RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY is seeking an RN for a Med Surg position. You will work 12-hour shifts in a rotating schedule covering days, evenings, and nights, including weekends and holidays. This is an 89-week travel assignment beginning December 7, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,344.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide competent patient care based on established nursing standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager
• Work rotating shifts with no straight shift schedules available
• Fulfill on-call and callback responsibilities as assigned
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
• May take on expanded role duties including preceptor and committee member responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York RN license (NY licenses only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association

You will be part of a Level 2 Med Surg unit where flexibility and clinical expertise are valued. The rotating schedule requires availability across all shifts and weekend coverage.
