Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekday and weekend shifts required, with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

Patient Care

• Patient ratios of 1:5–7 on a unit with approximately 30 patients daily
• Adult patient population

Clinical Responsibilities

You will manage telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, heparin protocols, PICC line management, wound care and wound vac support, tracheostomy care, IV management, and phlebotomy. The facility uses Cerner for charting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• WV or Compact License
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (through American Heart Association where applicable)

Support Services

Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and radiology.

Contract Terms

• Weekly pay: $2,592
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 27, 2026
• Scrubs are not provided
• Facility allows a maximum of 2–3 call-offs per contract
