Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
• Perform pediatric and adult cath lab procedures including transplant, right/left heart biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement procedures
• Interventional radiology procedures may also be included, preferably pediatric
• Work with congenital heart patients in a 2-room cath lab environment
• Experience with Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
• Proficiency with diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal), cardiac stent placement, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and either CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Charting system: EPIC
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period; called-off hours may be broken down to equal 1 shift
• Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September
