ICU RN Job in Pasadena, TX

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 26-bed ICU unit on the 2nd floor of the main building
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day and night shifts available with 1 charge RN, 1 rapid response RN, and 8 bedside RNs per shift
• Every other weekend shift required
• No on-call responsibilities for agency staff
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• Cardiovascular or Neuro ICU experience preferred
• Perform procedures including intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions
• Operate mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
• Float coverage to CVIMCU and IMCU as needed
• Must be accountable and self-directed in clinical practice
