Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• Work on a Med Surg Stroke Stepdown unit with 64 beds
• Treat adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Med Surg with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (NIH certification required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start)
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• RTO must be included at time of submission
