ED Registered Nurse Job in Laveen, AZ

Arizona General Hospital - Laveen is seeking an RN (Registered Nurse) for a travel assignment in the Emergency Room. This is a 91-day contract starting November 2, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,235.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour evening shifts
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday coverage as needed
• Float role across multiple ER satellite locations including Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise
• Schedule provided in advance so you know your reporting location
• First-to-float designation applies
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• You will work as one of only 2 RNs on staff at satellite locations

Clinical Environment

• Charting: Cerner EMR
• Lab draws performed by ER staff
• No IV team on site
• Ventilator-capable position required
• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue

Onboarding and Requirements

• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (maximum 2 attempts)
• Pass/fail Simulation Lab required on Day 1 of orientation, including Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion
• Competency in sterile field techniques required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC
• CPI preferred but not required
