Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment working 3x12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No block scheduling will be added to contract
• Time off requests presented after submission will not be approved
• Must be willing to float to all competent units within the facility
• Minimum 18 months of true telemetry experience required with cardiac focus
• Travel nursing experience required - no first-time travelers
• Experience titrating drips, managing pre/post cardiac cath patients, and working with sheaths required
• Cerner charting system experience required, no exceptions
• Must pass a mandatory EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher, including lethal rhythms - no exceptions
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS; TNCC preferred
• Valid Missouri RN license or compact license required
• Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, heparin protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, titration of insulin drips, pre/post cardiac cath care, PICC line management, wound care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Must complete 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs for telemetry placement
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
