ED RN Job in Lansing, MI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. This is a 98-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,531.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x12 night shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required: 3 weekends (Friday through Sunday) per 4-week schedule; you may be assigned 1, 2, or all 3 days each weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required, including possible pediatric emergency department float

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Standard shift ratios of 1:5–6 patients; ratios may reach 1:8 during high-volume periods and holidays
• Day shift ratios range from 1:4–6; night shift ratios range from 1:4–7
• Treat patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as needed

Required Qualifications

• RN degree with valid Michigan nursing license (compact license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, and NIH
• Triage experience and continuous IV sedation experience preferred
• ENPC certification preferred

Time Off Policy

• Pre-approved time off must be submitted at time of application; no additional requests approved after submission
• No RTO allowed on or between October 31 and December 18–28
