ED RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 181-day travel contract running from October 19, 2026, offering the opportunity to deliver high-acuity emergency care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Role Overview

You will provide direct nursing care to patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment support, medication administration, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. You will work in a fast-paced environment where clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability are essential.

Schedule and Commitment

• Three 12.5-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend rotation
• Every other holiday rotation
• 181-day contract duration

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,384.
