Emergency Room RN Job in Petoskey, MI

You will provide direct patient care in a 24/7 emergency department at McLaren Northern Michigan, managing patients from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma situations. This is a temporary contract position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 nights, 91-day contract beginning November 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,410.56
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend and holiday shifts required; 3am shift every other weekend, 7pm shift every 3rd weekend, every other holiday

Requirements:

• Current Michigan nursing license with LARA and Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS (AHA)
• Travel experience preferred
• Skills checklist completion required within one year of application

Attendance Policy:

You must maintain strict attendance standards. Three absences or instances of being more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift will result in immediate termination.
