OR Registered Nurse Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, scheduled from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with additional on-call and weekend availability as needed.

Schedule Details:

• Three 12-hour day shifts weekly (6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
• Up to 4 on-call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
• Up to one weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
• One working weekend every 4 weeks required
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• At least one holiday period required (Christmas: December 24–26 or New Year's: December 31–January 1)

Role Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities as required
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Document in EPIC charting system

Requirements:

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Radiation Badge (provided by agency)

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 27, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,075
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Block schedule available upon manager approval based on unit needs

First-time travelers are accepted. You will be trained in both scrub and circulate roles to support facility surgical operations.
