Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours must be indicated on submission form
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5-1:6 on days and 1:6-1:8 on nights (estimates, not guarantees)
• Work with Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Treat specialty surgery patients including GI, GU, ENT, and Urology
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• 1 year of telemetry experience required, inpatient only
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Trauma experience preferred, inpatient only
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, 4 trauma credits (must be completed within the first two weeks from start if not already obtained), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only
• Current RN license required, must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
• Scrub color: Black
• Torn clothes, open-toed shoes, and non-scrub attire are not acceptable
