Telemetry RN Job in Salisbury, NC

Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Rapid Response is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on a 36-bed unit serving adult and geriatric populations. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three days per week, with every other weekend required. This is a 112-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,019.17.

About the Role

You will care for patients with varied Med-Surg diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, hip fractures, and post-general surgery recovery. The target patient ratio is 1:6. You must be willing to float to all areas holding Med-Surg patients and will need a strong Med-Surg background. A 24-hour unit orientation will be provided.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• MS/Tele expertise with dysrhythmia interpretation
• Rapid Response and Code team protocols
• Blood product administration
• Central line and peripheral line care and management
• IV insertion and maintenance
• Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Epic charting system experience
• Pyxis medication dispensing system

Required Certifications

• BLS
• NIH
• EKG testing prior to start (must pass)

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Telemetry and dysrhythmia management
• Oncology experience
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• Chemo Administration certification

Additional Requirements

Navy scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided. You must be willing to float within and near the facility based on unit and organizational needs.
