Med Surg RN Job in Belton, MO

You'll work as an RN on the Medical Surgical-Telemetry unit at Belton Regional Medical Center, a 27-bed unit on 2 West of the main building. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting December 14, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 4x12, nights (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
• Weekly pay: $2,370
• 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Patient ratio: 1:5–6
• 3 weekend shifts required per month
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling available for travelers

Unit Staffing & Environment

Night shift includes 1 charge nurse coordinator, 5–6 RNs, and 3 CNAs. You'll use Meditech as your EMR system and work with equipment including Welch-Allyn vital sign machines, glucometers, polar ice packs, and continuous bladder irrigation systems.

Clinical Focus

Typical procedures on this unit include general surgery, echocardiography, EKG, colonoscopy, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), EEG, and wound vac management.

Requirements & Support

• Current BLS and ALS certifications required
• NIH certification required
• Grey scrubs required for RN staff
• Full orientation to unit, policy, and procedure provided

You'll join a structured team with established workflows and the chance to build relationships with permanent staff across your 13-week stay.
