ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
• Day shift schedule working three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend requirement of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday requirement of 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend
• Cancellation policy allows 1 shift cancelled per 4 weeks; overtime shifts can be cancelled at will
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Minimum Level III trauma center experience required
• BSN not required
• Valid RN license required for submission
• Must be willing to extend assignment past New Year's
• Common diagnoses include trauma, sepsis, stroke, chest pain, and abdominal pain
• Common drips include Diltiazem, Heparin, Insulin, Propofol, Cleviprex, Levophed, and Amiodarone
• Required to read telemetry strips
• Charting through Meditech Expanse with Telepsych support
• Schedule requests submitted to scheduler and reviewed by management
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI (can be obtained onsite)
• Preferred certifications: NRP, ENPC
