ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• Night shift position
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Patient ratios of 4/5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Provide emergency care in a Level I Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke, and Chest Pain (STEMI) Center environment
• Experience with triage required
• Must have at least 1 year of Level 1 trauma facility experience or 2 years of Level 2 trauma facility experience out of at least 2 years of ER experience
• Pediatric patient experience required (does not need to be in a dedicated pediatric ER)
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (may submit with TNCC pending but must have before start)
• Virginia nursing license required (pending licenses accepted)
• Maximum of 40 hours of pre-approved time off per 13-week contract
• Travelers must float within their scope of practice as needed
