Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Night patient ratios of 1:3-5
• Care for observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients on Med Surg unit
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Step down level experience preferred
• Med Surg basic skills required; telemetry skills preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must obtain prior to start if not currently held)
• Missouri or compact nursing license required
• EMR system: Meditech
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy
• Any scrub color accepted
• Travelers may float to different units
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• 12 orientation hours
