Med Surg RN Job in Springfield, TN

You are a registered nurse providing direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment working 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with various medical and surgical conditions throughout your shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team—physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other nursing staff—to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document all patient care activities, vital signs, medication administration, and clinical observations in accurate medical records
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions to support their recovery and engagement in care
• Maintain a safe patient environment and respond promptly to patient needs and alarms
