Med/Surg RN Job in Augusta, GA

You will work as an RN on a 40-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Doctors Hospital - Augusta GA. This is a contract position with a 91-day duration, starting November 9, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 nights per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week with rotating weekends
• Weekly pay: $1,736

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care with a patient ratio of 1:7. The unit is staffed with 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 patient care technicians, and 1 unit clerk per shift. You will perform EKGs, glucometer checks, venipuncture, and use standard medical equipment typical of a med-surg environment. Documentation will be managed through Meditech.

Important Details

• As contract labor, you will be first to float to like units as needed
• Required dress code: royal blue top and bottom
• Current Georgia RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of med-surg nursing experience required
