ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work in the Emergency Room department treating adolescents, adults, and geriatric patient populations
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon Medical Hospital as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/PPE, and triage
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract; all time off must be finalized at time of submission
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all holidays; if three major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two of them
