Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a high-acuity medical-surgical floor at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This position requires a strong background in surgery and trauma care. You will care for a diverse patient population including surgical patients, trauma patients with gunshot wounds, and patients with spinal cord injuries (quadriplegic and paraplegic). Your patient ratio will be 5:1.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 days per week
• Duration: 89 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,069

Experience and Credentials:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC EMR system experience required

What to Expect:

• Assigned shift schedule with no block schedules available
• No request time off (RTO) permitted
• Support team includes nursing support technicians, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary during night shifts
• Structured handoff process with ED nurses and admitting unit staff
