ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratios of 1-2:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float to other units based on census needs, including PCU, MS/Tele units (Humphrey, 3 North, 3 West, Kendrick & 2 East), and Cardiac Monitoring Room
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, neurosurgical and general surgery, neuro trauma, and ortho trauma
• Experience with cardiac drips (no vasopressors) required
• Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias required - RNs must read and interpret their own strips
• Skills in arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, IV insulin protocols, and titrating cardiac drips required
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Any color permitted for RNs
• Parking: Free
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all must be AHA-issued)
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required
• Must be comfortable floating without restrictions
