RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage after shift ends as needed
• 36-hour guaranteed hours per week with flexibility for shift adjustments
• Every other weekend on-call requirement from 6:30 AM to 6:30 AM (24-hour call)
• Evening call required 1-2 times per week starting after normal day shift ends (approximately 5:00 PM)
• Holiday call requirement includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• Call response time of 30 minutes required
• Work in a mixed Cath Lab and IR setting performing 8-10 cases per day across 3 suites
• Perform procedure setup, circulate procedures, administer sedation, and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring located in the control room outside of the main procedure room
• Float between procedure room and control room as part of a 3-person team
• Care for patients undergoing left and right heart catheterizations (interventional and diagnostic), EP studies, pacers, defibrillators, PICC line placements, central lines, Swans, pleurovacs, and stroke interventions
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Scrubs provided by facility
• No floating requirements
• Charting system: Cerner
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• BSN not required
