Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Sacramento, CA

You'll work as an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Mercy General Hospital, a Chest Pain Center accredited facility and STEMI tertiary referral center. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 1, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• One night call per week required
• Up to every other weekend call and holiday requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,591

The Role

You'll perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a 3-room lab. Your responsibilities include assisting with high-acuity cases, TAVR and Mitraclip procedures, and select peripheral vascular cases. You'll gain hands-on experience with Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Balloon Pump technology. The facility processes approximately 3,000 cases per year.

Required Qualifications

• RN credential (BSN not required)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 supervisory references from your current modality (1 within 12 months, 1 within 3 years)
