Med Surg RN Job in Janesville, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville is seeking an RN for their Med Surg Neuro/Trauma Unit. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and holiday shifts required. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and state standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and hospital policy, including patient and family education
• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care delivery
• Document according to established standards of care
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating concerns appropriately through the chain of command
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance initiatives
• May be required to float to other units as needed

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin nursing license
• NIHSS certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Education verification

You will earn $2,233.80 per week. This role offers the opportunity to work in a trauma center environment while maintaining day shift hours and a structured schedule.
