Physical Therapist Job in Redding, CA

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment starting September 14, 2026. You will work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with an every-other-weekend requirement (potentially every third weekend). Weekend rotations integrate into the permanent staff schedule for holiday coverage.

Role Details

• Treat patients with cardiac conditions, stroke, orthopedic injuries, ICU patients, neurological conditions, and medical-surgical cases
• No floating between units
• No requirement to work in NICU or have pediatric experience
• PT aide support available: one aide Sunday-Tuesday, two aides Wednesday-Saturday
• Team leader available when manager is not present
• Eight hours of orientation provided for all modalities

Requirements

• California physical therapy license
• Minimum two years of experience in specialty
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• BLS certification
• COVID vaccine
• Open to first-time travelers

• Dress code: burgundy polo or button-down shirt (provided by vendor), dark solid pants, no scrubs
