ED RN Job in Weatherford, TX

Medical City Weatherford is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment in our Emergency Department. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend required. This role offers 36 guaranteed hours weekly and no on-call obligations.

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a 23-bed emergency department staffed entirely by RN nurses, supported by lobby and secretary techs. Patient ratios are 4:1. The facility is a Level IV trauma center, primary stroke center, and chest pain accredited facility with 24/7 PCI and STEMI capabilities. You'll use standard ED equipment and document via Meditech system (experience preferred).

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and one of the following: PALS, ENPC, TNCC, or NIHSS

Dress Code and Appearance Standards

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Shoes must be non-absorbent with slip-resistant soles (breathable mesh athletic shoes without leather or man-made uppers are not permitted)
• Nails must be clean and healthy; no artificial, gel, or next gen nails
• Hair must be neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Visible piercings limited to ears only
• Body art should be covered whenever possible

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,133. Assignment begins September 28, 2026.
