Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission form)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• 1 year of telemetry experience required (inpatient only)
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Current RN license required - must meet criteria for eligibility for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Patient ratios vary: nights 1:6-1:7
• Unit contains 32 beds serving medical, med tele, and respiratory patients
• Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• EMR system: EPIC
• Utilize the nursing process to perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week of orientation
• Scrub color required: Black scrubs only
