CT Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus, a 12-bed freestanding emergency department in Richmond, VA. This is a 3x12 night shift position (7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday), offering 36-hour weeks with no on-call requirements and no floating to other units.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable X-ray equipment
• Performing standard ER imaging procedures—no surgical procedures or biopsies
• Working independently to cover both CT and X-ray modalities, often as single staff coverage for both
• Managing acute stroke cases and moderate pediatric volume
• Documenting in Meditech and Sectra systems

You'll care for an average patient volume of 80 per day, with 100+ during winter surge. The freestanding ER includes a 7-bed vertical fast track area.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Virginia state license or compact license at time of submission
• Current CPR, ARRT, and ARRT-CT certifications
• Professional, friendly communication skills
• Grey scrubs required

This 91-day assignment begins October 5, 2026. You'll earn $2,517 weekly.
