ED RN Job in Lake Geneva, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center – Walworth is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026, offering day shift hours with rotating weekends. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week at rates of $2,253 weekly pay.

Shift Details:

• Day shifts: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Rotating weekend availability required
• 3x12 schedule

Your Responsibilities:

• Apply the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and Wisconsin practice act
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized plans of care as prescribed by physician and clinic policy, including patient and family instruction
• Document care according to established standards
• Provide clinical guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating concerns appropriately through the chain of command
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives
• Engage in the professional nursing continuum, unit practice activities, and peer review processes

Required Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Either TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or TNS (Trauma Nursing Specialist) certification
• AHA Provider-level certifications only accepted for BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Education verification required
