Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on their 26-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit (5 East) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week at $1,885 weekly pay, with a start date of August 31, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated orthopedic and spine surgical unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1
• Perform nursing care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries
• Operate specialized equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Document patient care using the Meditech system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to support patient outcomes

Unit Expectations and Requirements

• A strong orthopedic nursing background is required
• You will work four weekend shifts per the established schedule
• Floating to other units occurs on a rotation basis
• You must demonstrate compassion and strong teamwork skills
• Maintain a patient experience requirement of 72%
• Wear navy scrubs as required by facility dress code
