ED RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Christian Hospital in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a night shift position on a 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week, running for 91 days starting July 27, 2026.

Position Details

• Night shift, 3x12 schedule with every 3rd weekend required (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,111.96
• Parking provided at no cost

Facility Overview

The Emergency Department serves approximately 127 visits daily across 38 beds. You will care for patients of all ages—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—in a setting that includes pediatric and psychiatric treatment areas.

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required; local candidates within 75 miles not accepted
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Certifications

• CPI
• TNCC

Core Responsibilities

You will perform emergency nursing duties including triage, IV insertion and maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, emergency medications, intubation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, central line care, chest tube insertion and management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, IV vasopressor management, continuous IV sedation, arterial blood gas interpretation, 12-lead EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, splint application and management, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction.

Support & Resources

The Emergency Department provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary coverage.
