ED RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an experienced RN for a travel position in our 68-bed Emergency Department. You'll work day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on a 3x12 schedule, providing direct patient care across all age groups in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma facility.

Position Details:

• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,232
• Shift: Days, 3x12 (36 hours weekly guaranteed)
• Patient ratio: 4:1 routinely; surge conditions may alter ratios
• No call requirements
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• EMR system: EPIC

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients of all ages
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Demonstrate strong communication and human relations skills in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Current RN license; must be eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility OR 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility (must be indicated on resume)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC
• NIHSS certification may be submitted without but must be obtained prior to start date
• Trauma, pediatrics, and high-acuity experience preferred
• Experience with 200+ patients per day preferred

• Dress code: Black scrubs; jeans and unprofessional attire are not acceptable
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be made up on the back end and will not be approved in the first week of assignment
• Holiday RTO limited to 1 request per assignment
• Block schedule cannot be accommodated
