Med Surg RN Job in Lebanon, NH

You will provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit at D-H Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. This 89-day travel assignment runs on a 4x12 rotating shift schedule, with weekly pay of $3,328.80.

Your responsibilities include:

• Care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including sepsis, infectious processes, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, GI disorders, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, heart disease, and skin and wound complications
• Manage acute and chronic respiratory illnesses including COPD, influenza, pneumonia, and Cystic Fibrosis
• Oversee hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
• Manage chest tubes, tracheostomies, and laryngectomies
• Monitor telemetry and manage complex drip infusions, including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Care for central lines, including maintenance, dressing changes, and blood draws
• Manage lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Assess and treat complex wounds
• Respond to on-call responsibilities as needed

Required experience includes proficiency with chest tubes, telemetry monitoring, central line management, complex wound care, medication drips, and post-operative line and drain care. You must be comfortable working with tracheostomies and laryngectomies.
