Med Surg RN Job in Keene, NH

You will provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a medical-surgical unit at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of September 14, 2026.

Role Details

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult and geriatric patients
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
• Float to Thompson Unit as needed
• Float to Kingsbury custodial patients as needed (higher patient ratio, lower acuity)
• Every other weekend required; holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Schedule & Compensation

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, earning $2,340 weekly. A 48-hour guarantee is not available. Shift accommodation requests and block scheduling will not be considered. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requirements

• RN license (New Hampshire or Compact)
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications current
• Medical/Surgical skills checklist current to within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Must have own vehicle
• Permanent address required in profile
• Traveler-provided professional scrubs required (no logos)
